Hi,
I'm Ray Knowles and welcome to Frithsden House.

I've been meaning to put up a website dedicated to this rather special house for a while now.
The main reason is that since I bought it in 1994 I've been constantly bombarded with questions from all
over the world involving its links with, the navy, Prince Charles and Gerry Halliwell to name but a few.

As for Frithsden Copse, it's one the most sought after roads in the County. It lies adjacent to the Ashridge
national trust woods and falls slap bang in the middle of an area of archaeological significance,
outstanding natural beauty, Green belt and anything else protective you can think of.

Most of the properties in the Copse have approximately one acre of garden. Frithsden House however
unusually has 5 acres of completely private and mature grounds. The reasons for this are historical as
you'll find out later....

Oh, one last thing, the house is currently 6,500 sq ft and has, unusually in this neck of the woods,
permission to be extended to  a "monster" 8,000 sq ft.
