Frithsden Copse, Berkhamsted, Herts HP4 2RG
One of Hertfordshire's most magnificent
houses set in 5 acres of totally secluded
gardens in natural trust woodland
in an area of outstanding natural beauty
and archaeological significance, 5
minutes from Berkhamsted
station
Frithsden House looks magnificent in the summer months, and probably even better in Spring. The
gardens are fully mature with large trees and beautiful bush and flowers. The stonework is reminiscent
of 1900's Frank Lloyd Wright and similar houses can be seen built by him in the States at this time. The
bricks are individually made and the roof tiles are also special with a Spanish fee. There are the
occasional mosaics dotted around the walls that were specially commissioned - perhaps by Bill West
